Hi, I’m Timothy Matwey a professional sports photographer based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

For as long as I've lived sports have always played an instrumental part of my life and to combine my love for sports and photography has been a dream come true.

My pathway into sports photography began in 2016 as a team photographer for the former WHL Memorial Cup Champion Kootenay Ice hockey club and I haven't looked back. 

I've had the privilege to work for the Edmonton Oilers as a team editor from 2022 - 2024 during their Stanley Cup Finals run. 

I've also had the privelege to work with just some of many clients over the last several years.
